Faith Community Bible Church

FCBCBoise.org screenshot

A site that provides promotion, news, and resources for the church I attend. There is an extensive resource section for sermons, position papers, and the like. It is meant to appeal to those who attend and provide information for those who are interested in the church or Jesus.

XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, mySQL, PHP

»   Member images randomly rotated throughout the site
»   Valid XHTML and CSS (a compromise was made in order to make the navigation work even in archaic browsers, resulting in a tiny validation problem)
»   Table-less layout

»   Hand-rolled, dynamic, server-side navigation

IdahoStatesman.com's MP3 Idaho

BethanyAndAndy.com screenshot

MP3 Idaho provides a destination for local bands to upload their music for free, and for those interested in local artists to download free music and learn more about local bands. From the perspective of The Idaho Statesman, it provides advertising opportunities and is "cool" and relevant, appealing to a younger demographic than the newspaper often does.

The Idaho Statesman: Internal Do Not Call List

Do Not Call List

This is an intranet application I built for our call center. Since they make outbound calls, it is illegal for them to call numbers from the national do not call list. This little app queries a phone number database (and keeps logs) to make sure that they don't get their pants sued off.

Design, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ODBC database calls, PHP (everything)

notables

»   ODBC database calls, allowing for easy portability among differing databases
»   JavaScript validation and auto-tabbing
